Project: Scriptwriting for "Edutainment"

Students learn about various types of media productions that combine educational content with entertaining aspects. Writing projects include one or more of the following: radio or TV commercial, music video, documentary, MS PowerPoint-type presentation, short film, or TV show. Variations of these projects and themes connected to curriculum may be arranged upon consultation with the instructor. This residency is appropriate for grades 3 and up.

Doug Freeman is an award-winning scriptwriter and producer for education, government, and industry. His media company, Arnold Creek Productions, produces original educational videos for children and adults, which are sold worldwide.
