Prinzmetal, Donna

Project: The (W)Right Brain
In this residency, students will activate the (W)Right Brain to learn to write with panache and style. A series of sensory and intuitive exercises will be used to get kids out of a linear track and into a creative, improvisational mode. Donna will get students excited about writing! Activities may include: image and metaphor, sensory writing, personification, voice, nonsense poetry, fun and outrageous stories, memory writing, "If I Were in Charge" poems, odes, and "The Animal inside Me."
