Redmond, Laure

Project: Emotion-n-Motion
This class teaches students how to blend movement and words. Students will start each session with a five-minute stretch, using movement to inspire voice, a technique that Laure learned as a fitness instructor and a graduate of the Sanford Meisner acting school in New York City. Putting movement to selected words, students will develop a short story, learning techniques of plot, character, and setting, finishing the week with a story created from movement and emotion.
